Increasing and Decreasing the Space Between Fields

(4306 views. Last Updated: 2007-08-09 12:47 PM)

You can adjust the space between fields by modifying the CSS. For a good CSS reference, please see http://www.w3schools.com/css

Example 1 - Increase the padding:
<style type="text/css">
    td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsField1, td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsField2,
    td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsLabel1, td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsLabel2 {
        padding: 20px;
    }
</style>

Example 2 - Remove some spacing:
<style type="text/css">
    td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsField1, td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsField2,
    td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsLabel1, td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsLabel2 {
        padding: 0px;
        margin: 0px;
    }
</style>

Example 3 - Remove all spacing:
<style type="text/css">
    td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsField1, td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsField2,
    td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsLabel1, td.ffTableSetFORMfieldsLabel2,
    div.cell {
        padding: 0px;
        margin: 0px;
    }
</style>
Note: the CSS in Example 3 will also affect other elements that are displayed with a TableSet.
